Lefkada-Lygia
A fully green island situated in the Ionian Sea easily to be reached via any means of transport as it is united with the rest of Greece by a permanent bridge. It extraordinarily combines mountain and sea sceneries and is in a position to satisfy any type of tastes and preferences. A great variety of main as well as smaller villages comprises the island for its first edge till the last one. A characteristic example is Lygia, only 6 km from the main city of Lefkada, where is situated our complex ARIS VILLAS. It is a complex of 4 separate buildings which are divided into 3 apartments of 35 m2 each: Two on the ground floor and one maisonette on the first floor.
Local Festivities
Several festivities involving different means of art take place at the beginning of August such as folklore and theatrical performances, speeches and lectures. In the village of Karia on the 11th of August we have the revival of Lefkadian marriage. At the eastern part of the island we come across the sea side village of Lygia. This village is known for its fresh fish and is a classical destination for family vacations. It is recommended to families with small children as it has peaceful waters and many play lands where our little friends can play freely.
